Albuquerque Web Developer Celebrates Earth HourApril 15th, 2009
On March 28 HiDef Web partnered with a local Albuquerque personality to throw an Earth Hour Sushi & Saki party on behalf of the environment. The event raised $670 for Conservation International, an organization that believes "the Earth's natural heritage must be maintained if future generations are to thrive spiritually, culturally and economically." HiDef matched each dollar that was contributed by the evening's attendees. This amount represents a small portion of what we love to give back to the community we seek to serve. In 2008, for example, HiDef rededicated 62% of total profit back to charities.
Even as HiDef seeks to use its talents in web design and development to innovate with technology for great causes, we equally love to see our profit used to fuel great causes. We also seek to secure a carbon footprint of zero by thinking different about the way a web company can operate.
